B&NES | WestCo Comms Early Years Recruitment Campaign

Digital Campaign and website assets for B&NES local authority to help recruit more people into Early Years roles. Social media, programmatic banners and website skin look and feel, including brand identity, logo design, colour palette and typography, with full brand guidelines. Freelance graphic design for WestCo Comms for Bath & North East Somerset local council authority (client).

Client agency: WestCo Comms

The Brief: Westco was commissioned by Bath and North East Somerset Council to develop a website and digital campaign to help recruit more people into Early Years roles (nursery assistants and childminders). The paid advertising campaign was delivered over a 10-week period and needed a brand identity, logo, website treatment, paid social and paid media assets.
My response: Using simple primary shapes as typographical elements, coupled with a primary-style, accessible colour palette, evoking building blocks, toys, and early years learning. Strong, dynamic typography helps to call out the ‘Your / Our Future’ motif, with a yellow neon accent bringing to mind yellow highlighters, commonly used in teaching and learning.
