I love doing editorial illustrations; I pride myself on my conceptual thinking and ability to observe and recognise trends, this means I have the exact mindset when it comes to doing fast, current and relevant illustrations that often expand on and add a new dimension to the article. I enjoy controversial topics the most, and often do work on ones with an environmental, social or political nature. I believe editorial illustrations shouldn’t merely illustrate what is there, but lend a new angle to the story, and most of all, draw the readers eye in the first place.
