Speaking of trends, I also volunteer as a trend hunter for The Cool Commentator and The Lounge Group, so am ‘in the know’ as the cool kids say. Us illustrators have to be on the cutting edge of culture, don’tcha know. I’m available for any freelance trendhunting and marketing projects; if you’re in the market for a know it all such as myself. *pushes glasses up nose*

So many competitions coming up this year, busy times ahead, will be hard to make the time for all! I love your entry for Penguin, no wonder it was shortlisted! It instantly feels like something you’d see on the shelves in a book shop. I’m def entering this year (oh, the perks of being a student!). Have you heard of the Puffin Digital Prize? (http://www.puffindigitalprize.co.uk/) it’s open to all, illustrating an ebook, could be interesting.
