Back in the depths of July I went to the Ben & Jerry’s Sundae Festival on Clapham Common – see what I thought about it here. Basically, it was an awesome day out and I loved it – not just because of the cows and the free icecream. Although that helped.
Well I was emailed yesterday by the lovely Maynard Malone, letting me know that the festival is up for an award! I didn’t even know festivals could get awards; but they can. Ben & Jerry’s Sundae Festival is up for an award for the best medium sized festival at the UK festival awards, and you can vote by going to http://www.festivalawards.com/
It’s up against behemoths like Camp Bestival and Vintage at Goodwood; both of which I’m told are fine festivals, I’ve just never been to either. And do THEY give away free icecream? No. No they don’t.
