Amelia’s Magazine were hard at work with their coverage of LFW and I was asked to illustrate some of Bernard Chandran’s pieces.

I wanted to accentuate the structure of these dresses; the strong lines, yet the loose, slouchy feel. Chandran has a big urban, city feel to me so I thought a backdrop of the city gives the collection some grounding. The colours are very earthy however, a natural, stripped back feel; definitely a working girl’s wardrobe. Functional, strong, for a woman just the same.
This is my second contribution to Amelia’s Magazine; I haven’t done any fashion illustration in a while and I was so pleased to be asked to contribute; it was an extremely fast turn around (as always is with fashion, I should know…) but I’m happy with the way they came out, turns out I can finally draw feet! Read the article about Bernard Chandran’s SS11 collection on Amelia’s Magazine here.
Feels great to have some new work out there. I’ve now finally moved to London so should have more time to get scribblin’ :) More on that soon… x
